Purple found its way onto this piece the way good memories do, unexpectedly, and then perfectly. My mom and I picking out purple pansies every summer, unhurried. It felt like the right color for a piece inspired by a Southern summer.
Fill it with stems, with iced tea, with whatever the season offers.
